We are a vital force in assuring the success of school boards.
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Four County School Boards Association is to educate, support and advocate for all public boards of education and board members.
Goals and Objectives
1.
The Association will attract, develop and retain
effective board members
a.
To provide compelling programs and
workshops on relevant topics
b.
To conduct a seminar/workshop for
prospective school board members
c.
To conduct an orientation for newly
elected board members.
d.
To utilize technology to communicate
effectively
e.
To provide networking opportunities
designed to stimulate interest in
membership

The Association will positively impact/influence
legislative, regulatory,
and other constituent
groups
a.
To educate individual members and
boards regarding legislative/regulatory
issues impacting education
b.
To encourage individual members and
boards to be more active/involved with
legislative issues impacting education
c.
To establish Association positions
regarding legislative and regulatory issues

The Association will build and maintain
supportive coalitions
a.
To expand knowledge, skill and influence
by working cooperatively with other
agencies, groups, and organizations

The Association will engage in a process of continuous
improvement
a.
To convene an ad hoc committee to create
an improvement process and the
necessary tools for implementation
